Revel – #3 BOND | SOFT GEL BUILDER BOND 0.5 fl oz

What it is:

Revel Nails new Bond | Soft Gel Builder is a durable, multi-use base gel. Can be used as either a builder gel for gel overlays, as a base adhesive for Soft Gel Extension Tips, or applied on its own to add strength to natural nail.

• Please Note Bond | Soft Gel Builder does require a UV/LED Lamp to cure

How to use:

• FOR SOFT GEL TIPS:
  • Perform any cuticle work and nail prep
  • Apply Revel Nail Dehydrator and Revel Nail Acid Free Primer before proceeding with the Soft Gel Builder
  • Apply a thin layer of the Soft Gel Builder to the natural nail and cure for 60 seconds in UV/LED lamp
  • Apply a layer of Soft Gel Builder onto the inside of the gel tip where it contacts the natural nail. Apply the gel tip to the natural nail at a 45 degree angle starting at the cuticle and press down allowing the gel to spread to the free edge of the nail.
  • While holding down the tip in place, flash cure directly under the light for 15-20 seconds.
  • Cure all nails in UV/LED lamp flash curing.
• FOR BUILDER GEL:
  • Perform any cuticle work and nail prep
  • Pro Tip: For extra adhesion, apply Revel Nail Dehydrator and Revel Nail Acid Free Primer before applying the Soft Gel Builder.
  • Apply a very thin layer of Soft Gel Builder to the natural nail as a slip layer. Do not cure.
  • Pack a bead of Soft Gel Builder at the base of the nail and float down to the free edge. Allow the gel to self settle.
  • When you are happy with the shape, cure for 60 seconds in UV/LED lamp.
  • Add more Soft Gel Builder to build shape if needed.

STEP ONE:PREP NAIL

• Prepare by sanitizing hands and pushing back cuticles.
• Using a fine drill bit or buffer/file, remove shine from nails.
• It is recommended to file down any excess length of your natural nail.

STEP TWO:SIZE TIPS

• Tips should fit your natural nail from sidewall to sidewall naturally without applyingpressure.
• If you are in between sizes, size up and file sides if necessary.

STEP THREE:PRIME NAIL

• Remove any dust from nails and skin by wiping the nail clean with alcohol.
• ApplyPrep | Nail Dehydratorto nail in one thin coat.
• After nail is fully dry applyPrime | Acid–Free Primerto entire nail in one thin coat.

STEP FOUR:BASE GEL

• Apply a thin layer of Bond to all natural nails and cure in a LED lamp for 60 seconds or 2 minutes for UV.
• Apply a thin coat of Prime to the inside of the nail tips using the brush to scrub the product into the tip.

STEP FIVE: APPLY TIP

• Apply Bond to the inside of the gel tip where it contacts that natural nail.
• Press the tip to the nail at an angle starting at the base of the nail and slowly pushdownward, allowing the gel to spread to the free edge.

STEP SIX: FLASH CURE

• While holding down the tip in place, flash cure with Spectra Flash Cure UV/LED Lamp for 15-20 seconds.
• Carefully repeat steps 5 and 6 to apply gel tips on the rest of your nails.

STEP SEVEN: CURE & SHAPE

• Fully cure all nails in a LED lamp for 60 seconds or 2 minutes for UV
• Once nails are cured and secured, file and shape the tips to your liking.

STEP EIGHT: FINISH MANI

• Proceed with your favorite shade of Lacquer, Gel Polish, or Dip Powder to finish out your manicure.
• Seal and protect your manicure with Tack Free Gel Top Coat and cure for 90 seconds in a UV/LED lamp.
